The funnel by source: from first contact to deal, project and revenue
See, for each acquisition source, how many people reached a form, a message, a deal, a project and a won deal, what came in, and what the credits spent came to per useful action.
Steps
- Open a contact, then Customer journey → Outcomes by acquisition source. In EmailPro the same report is also under Analytics → Funnel by source.
- Choose the period (contacts created in the last 7, 30 or 90 days) and the attribution window. Each stage counts a person once, and only what happened within the window after they were created. People created less than a window ago are marked: their outcome may still arrive.
- A source with fewer than 20 contacts shows its counts without percentages, because a rate over a handful of people says little.
- Show people lists up to 50 contacts of one source with the stages each reached, as far as you may see them.
- People who may read reports also see revenue in three separate bases that are never added together: won deal value, payments after refunds, and store orders (which do not subtract refunds). Each stays in its own currency.
- The cost line divides the credits the whole workspace consumed in the period by its new contacts, form leads and won customers. It is not split by source, and someone who sees only their own contacts does not get it.
- Search impressions, clicks and AI citations, when an export was imported, appear beside the funnel and are never matched to people.
Questions
- Does this show which campaign caused a sale?
- No. It describes what happened after people arrived. To measure whether a message made a difference, set a goal with a holdout on an automation and compare.
- Can an assistant read it?
- Yes, through MCP (crm_journey_report), with the same visibility and permissions as on the screen. It reads only and changes nothing.
