Israeli ID, company number, phone and bank account fields
Field types that check the number as it is typed: Israeli ID number, company number, Israeli phone and a sealed bank account. They are offered to workspaces that trade in Israel.
Steps
- Make sure the workspace market is Israel: Settings → Market, or Automatic with the Jerusalem time zone.
- On a contact press Add a field (on a deal or company, under More details), name it and choose the type: Israeli ID number, Company number, Israeli phone or Bank account (sealed). Owners and admins create fields.
- Type a value. An ID number (up to nine digits) and a company number (nine digits) are checked by their check digit; when one does not add up, the message asks you to check the last digit.
- An Israeli phone is saved in international form, so 050-123-4567 becomes +972501234567.
- A bank account is written as bank, branch and account, like 12-345-678901. It is stored sealed and shown as 12-345-••••01. Show the full number is for people with money permission and writes an audit entry without the number.
Questions
- Why do I not see these types?
- The workspace market is International. The types are offered only to workspaces that trade in Israel; values saved earlier keep showing if the market changes.
- Can a bank account be a deal or company field?
- No. It is a contact field, because it belongs to the person who pays.
- Are ID numbers hidden from analysts?
- Not by themselves: the bank account is the field that is always masked. Keep that in mind before you give someone the analyst role.
