Sell from your site with product blocks
Two site blocks show products from CRM › Products: a grid grouped by category, and a page for one product with its options. The purchase happens at the checkout address each product names.
Steps
- In the site editor, add a Products block or a Product block, then choose the products from your catalogue.
- The block keeps what the products said when you chose them: name, price, availability, image and checkout address. Refresh it after changing a price; the publish check warns when prices are more than 14 days old.
- Out of stock replaces the buy button; it never hides the product. An unknown availability says nothing rather than guessing.
- A recommendation or affiliate link shows its disclosure beside the button and is marked as a sponsored link for search engines. The publish check warns when one has no disclosure.
- A product page shows its delivery and return terms, and structured data for search only when its price and availability were actually stated.
- No checkout, cart or payment is created by the site. Each button opens the checkout address you set on the product.
Questions
- Does every product get its own page?
- No. A site has up to 20 pages, so a large catalogue stays in one grid with category links, and a product page is for the ones you choose to feature.
