Send WordPress form leads to EmailPro
The EmailPro Leads plugin sends every Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro, Contact Form 7 or WPForms submission to your CRM, with the page and the campaign it came from, without slowing the form down.
Steps
- In EmailPro, open Settings → Connections, find WordPress and press Show the address. Only an owner or an admin can see it, because the address is the key.
- In WordPress, install and activate the EmailPro Leads plugin (Plugins → Add New, search for EmailPro Leads).
- Open Settings → EmailPro, paste the address and press Test connection.
- Tick the forms to send. Each form's fields are matched to email, phone, name, company and message for you; change any match in the table.
- Map the consent checkbox if the form has one. A person becomes a subscriber only when they ticked it; everyone else arrives as a lead you can contact, not as a subscriber.
- Send a test submission and find the person under Contacts. The plugin's delivery log shows the last 50 deliveries, with no personal details.
Questions
- What if EmailPro is down when somebody fills in the form?
- The visitor sees the form succeed as usual. The plugin keeps the submission and retries with growing waits for up to a day, then marks it failed in the log, where you can retry it.
- What is sent, and is the same lead filed twice?
- The mapped fields, the page address and its UTM tags, consent with the visitor's IP and browser only when the box was ticked, and the other answers if you allow it. Each submission carries an id, so a retry is never a second lead.
- Can a lead supplier be credited for WordPress leads?
- Yes. Link the source wordpress to the supplier under Settings → Lead partners, and each new lead is credited when it arrives.
- The address leaked, or a site is no longer yours. How do I stop it?
- In EmailPro, open Settings → Connections, find WordPress, press Show the address and then Replace the address. The old address stops working at once, so paste the new one into every site that should keep sending (Settings → EmailPro in WordPress). Only an owner or an admin can do it, and it is recorded in the activity log. Your phone system and Telnyx addresses do not change.
- Where do the UTM tags come from if the visitor fills in the form on another page?
- The plugin remembers the UTM tags of the page the visitor landed on, for 30 days, in a first-party cookie that holds nothing personal. A form on another page sends those when its own address has none.
- Why does an Elementor form show in the plugin before anybody filled it in?
- The plugin reads the forms saved in your Elementor pages and lists them with their fields, so you can map them up front. A form that is not saved in an Elementor page, popup or template (for example one a theme adds in code) appears after its first submission.
