Give a domain to another account

Move a domain into a workspace that belongs to someone else, with its addresses, forwarding, redirects, website and versions, leads and sending setup. They accept first, DNS and delivery do not change, and nothing is deleted.

Steps

  1. Open the domain, then its Activity tab. Only the owner of the workspace the domain is in sees Give this domain to another account.
  2. Press See what moves. It counts every row that would travel and asks the mail server for a dry run: how many SMTP passwords move and how many unsubscribes are copied. Nothing changes.
  3. Enter the email the receiving owner signs in with, add a note if you like, and send the request. They are mailed in their own language and have seven days.
  4. The receiver sees the request at the top of their Domains screen, picks one of the workspaces they own, and presses Accept and move. They can also decline, and you can cancel while it waits.
  5. When it moves, the mail server moves first and then every row moves in one step. If anything fails, the mail server is moved back and the domain stays whole where it was.
  6. Both workspaces' audit logs record the move, and the source keeps its history from before.
  7. If you own the receiving workspace too, Move now does it at once, without a request.
  8. Brand My Inbox MCP: list_domain_moves and preview_domain_move (domains:read); request_domain_move (domains:write) waits for a person's approval. Accepting is done in the app.

Questions

Inside my own organisation?
Use Move to another workspace on the same tab: it needs no request, only the right to manage domains in both.
Does the receiver get my mail history?
They get the domain's own mail and team conversations. Mail you sent from other domains, and your audit history, stay with you.
